The Freedom Group of America, Inc. (FGA), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, was founded in Freedom, Pennsylvania. The FGA creates innovative ideas and slogans to garner money for worthy causes while at the same time creating a cause for people to come together for a common good.
The founders and organizers include businessmen Bruce Johnson, John Maielli, Tony Rich, Dave Hoffman and Sean Schumura.
FGA has recruited the major US sports logo towel manufacturer, McArthur Towel & Sports of Baraboo, Wisconsin who manufacture and print the Pittsburgh Steelers’ world-famous “Terrible Towel”. McArthur has the capacity to deliver millions of “Uniting Towelson a yearly basis.
The Freedom Group of America is dedicated to raising and distributing proceeds to numerous charitable groups. FGA’s projected goals are to raise millions of dollars in sponsorship revenues and to distribute millions of “Uniting Towels” throughout America.
Eventually, the striking 15”x18” “Official Uniting Towel of America” will be distributed across the country to sponsors, retail stores, as fundraisers for schools, churches and all interested organizations and of course at 4th of July festivals everywhere.
FGA will approach American companies for sponsorships. As proud sponsors, these companies will be given a pre-determined amount of towels based on their level of commitment.
Television stations, radio stations, newspapers, magazines, internet, and all other forms of media will receive promotional products and press releases far in advance of the “Main Event”! The “buzz” created by the coverage leading up to the July 4th, 2008 “National Wave” could be unprecedented!
Eventually, the National Wave “Main Event” is expected to be televised nationally as it unfolds across the country and potentially be front-page news and the lead news story on July 5.
Establish the Freedom Group of America as the premier promoter of
the "AMERICA AS ONE" concept while maintaining our uncompromising
principles as we grow. To show the world that we as Americans can
come together and help support “our own” in time of need.
Following are six guiding principles that will help us measure the
appropriateness of our decisions:
1. To provide our selected charities with the most cost effective
ways to best advance their cause.
2. To embrace diversity as an essential component in the way we promote,
give and share.
3. To apply the highest standards in which we promote and stay neutral.
4. To create and hold events/promotions that will include all Americans,
for the good of our country.
5. To contribute to our selected charities while at the same time
creating the opportunity for any organization across America to raise
money and awareness for their cause.
6. To recognize people, organizations and corporations for their efforts
in promoting the American Dream.
We fulfill this mission by:
Understanding that we cannot give directly to each and every cause,
but we can create an opportunity for every cause to raise funds.
Knowing that every American has the right to their differences and
believe that we can, as a country, unite no matter what those differences
may be.
